Ingredients

Potato
- ½ kg
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Salt
- as required
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1.
Scrape
outer skin from
potatoes
and
dice
into inch pieces.
Keep
immersed in
water
.
2.
Wash
2 to 3 times in
water
till
water
is clear.
3. Dry up moisture by
spreading
the pieces over a cloth.
4.
Heat
oil
in a pan,
add
pieces and
fry
till
potato
changes into golden yellow.
5.
Drain
off excess
oil
if any, and then sprinkle
salt
,
chilly
powder
.
6.
Serve
hot with rice.
