Garlic Prawn Curry

Ingredients

• • Prawn (medium, deshelled, deveined with tails intact) - ½ kg

Ingredients For The Marination

• • Garlic-green chilly paste - ½ tablespoon
• • Black pepper (crushed) - 1 teaspoon
• • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
• • Chilly sauce - ¼ teaspoon
• • Garlic cloves (chopped) - 4
• • Cornflours - 1 teaspoon
• • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
• • Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
• • Salt - as required

Ingredients For The Sauce

• • White vinegar - 1 tablespoon
• • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
• • Sesame seeds (roasted) - 1 teaspoon
• • Green chillies (chopped) - 1 teaspoon
• • Salt - as required

Method

• 1. Take a bowl and marinate the prawn with all the ingredients for 30 minutes.
• 2. Take a small bowl and mix the vinegar, soy sauce, sesame seeds and green chillies and the sauce is ready.
• 3. Heat a non- stick pan and pour 2 Tablespoon sesame oil. When hot add marinated prawns and stir fry till prawn tails are curled and cooked. Do not overcook.
• 4. Serve the prawns in a dish along with the sauce.
