Ingredients

Potato
- ½ kg
•
Peas
- 1 cup
•
Onions
- 6
•
Tomato
- ¼ kg
•
Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons
•
Dhania powder
- 1 tablespoon
•
Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Chilly powder
- 2 ½ teaspoons
•
Oil
- 3 tablespoons
•
Coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Cut
onions
into big pieces and
grind
to a
coarse paste
.
2.
Chop
tomatoes
finely.
3.
Boil
potatoes
in pressure cooker.
4.
Peel
and
dice
them.
5.
Cook
peas
and
keep
aside.
6.
Heat
oil
in a
frying
pan, season with jeera or aniseed,
fry
the
ginger-garlic paste
for a minute.
7.
Add
onion
paste
and
fry
till it turns golden brown in colour.
8.
Add
chopped
tomatoes
and
fry
for few minutes.
9. When the
tomatoes
become soft,
add
dhania powder
,
turmeric powder
,
garam masala
,
salt
and
chilly powder
.
10.
Fry
till
oil
separates from the
masala
.
11.
Pour
enough
water
along with boiled
peas
and
potatoes
.
12.
Cook
till the gravy becomes thick.
13.
Serve
hot, garnished with
coriander leaves
.
