Sindhi Palak Curry With Paneer

Palak
- 4 bunches

Paneer
- 200 grams
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
Ingredients For Grinding Together

Onions
- 2

Ginger
- 1 inch piece
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Tomatoes
- 4
•
Coriander leaves
- ½ bunch
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
•
Cardamoms
- 3
•
Cloves
- 4
•
Cinnamon
- 1 inch piece
•
Coconut (grated)
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Poppy seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Dhania powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Lime
- 1
Method
1.
Cut
palak
finely.
2.
Heat
a teaspoon of
oil
,
fry
cut
palak
for a minute,
add
little
water
and
cook
till soft.
3.
Grind
the
masala
ingredients
and
make
a thick
paste
with very little
water
.
4.
Add
the cooked
palak
at the end and
grind
well.
5.
Heat
oil
in a shallow pan,
fry
the ground
masala
in medium flame, till the raw smell is lost.
6.
Add
little
water
and fried
paneer
cubes.
7.
Cover
and
keep
in a low flame for another few minutes.
8.
Stir
carefully in between.
9.
Serve
hot with squeezed
lime
if necessary.
