Sindhi Bhindi Masala

Ingredients
•
Ladies finger
- ¼ kg
•
Onions (finely cut)
- 3 tablespoons
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Dhania powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Amchurs/Dry mango powers
- 1 teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Curd (fresh, thick)
- 2 tablespoons
Method
1.
Wash
and
cut
ladies finger
into 2 ½ inch pieces.
2. Slit lengthwise into four half way through so that
vegetable
remains whole.
3.
Mix
salt
, and other dry powders with
onions
.
4.
Add
curds
and
make
into
paste
.
5. Stuff little of this
mixture
in slit
ladies finger
pieces.
6.
Heat
oil
in a
frying
pan and
fry
stuffed
ladies finger
pieces in that in reduced flame with a lid closed.
7.
Mix
gently in between and
cook
till
ladies finger
becomes soft.
