Onions (prepare: fry dry)

Cumin seeds

Khus khus
- 1 teaspoon
•
Fenugreek seeds
- ½ teaspoon

Coconut (dry, grated)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Garlic cloves
- 10
•
Ginger
- 1 inch
•
Jaggery
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Tamarind water
- 2 tablespoons
•
Kashmiri chillies
- 15
•
Curry leaves
- 2 sprigs
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1.
Fry
onion
in a kadai without
oil
.
2. Dry
roast
coriander seed
,
sesame seed
,
peanut
, jeera,
khus khus
,
cumin seeds
,
khus khus
,
fenugreek
and dry
coconut
separate separate.
3. Then
add
everything and
grind
to a smooth
paste
with
garlic cloves
,
ginger
,
jaggery
,
salt
and
tamarind water
.
4.
Add
oil
in a pan and
add
cut
kashmiri chilly
in it, then
curry leaves
then
add
the grounded
paste
in it and also
add
water
to
cook
5. Then
add
turmeric powder
,
chilly powder
and
cook
.
6. For
garnishing
put red
chilly powder
in hot
oil
and
pour
on top of mirchi ka salan and
serve
.
