Ingredients

Onions

Tomatoes
- 3

White pumpkin pieces (diced)
- 2 cups
•
Salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Sugar
- ½ teaspoon
•
Oil
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Coriander leaves
- a little
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
Ingredients For Masala
•
Coconut (scraped)
- ¼ cup
•
Red chillies
- 10
•
Garlic
- 6 flakes
•
Cumin seeds
- ¾ teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon
Method
1.
Cut
onions
into long thin pieces and
tomatoes
into small pieces.
2.
Fry
onions
in
oil
, when it is half done
add
pumpkin
pieces and
fry
for 2 minutes.
3.
Mix
tomatoes
and
fry
for few minutes and then
add
ground
masala
.
4.
Fry
until
masala
smells good.
5.
Pour
enough
water
to
cover
the pieces,
add
salt
and
sugar
.
6.
Cover
and
cook
in low flame till the
pumpkin
becomes soft.
7.
Add
cut
coriander leaves
and
curry leaves
.
8.
Serve
hot with chapatis or parathas.
