White Chutney

Ingredients

Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 1 cup
•
Green chillies
- 3
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Oil
- 1 teaspoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 2 sprigs
•
Asafoetida
- 2 pinches
•
Red chilly (broken)
- 1
Method
1.
Grate
white portion alone from
coconut
.
2.
Add
green chillies
,
salt
to the
coconut
and
grind
to a coarse chutney using just enough
water
.
3.
Heat
little
oil
,
add
mustard seeds
allow to splutter.
4.
Mix
curry leaves
,
asafoetida
and broken
red chilly
in that
oil
and then
pour
over ground chutney.
