Vegetables In Coconut Milk - Veg Stew

Potatoes

Carrots

Cabbages (chopped)
- ¼ cup
•
Chow-chow
- ½
•
Bean
- 100 grams
•
Onions
- 3
•
Oil
- 3 tablespoons
•
Salt
- as required
•
Coconut milk
- 1 cup
•
Cashew nuts
- 1 teaspoon
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Dhania
- 2 teaspoons
•
Poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoons
•
Grams (roasted)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Red chillies
- 5
•
Green chillies
- 4
•
Coconut (scraped)
- ¼ cup
•
Garlic
- 6 flakes
Method
1.
Dice
all the
vegetables
into desired size.
2.
Cut
onions
finely.
3.
Grind
the
masala
and
keep
aside.
4.
Boil
all the
vegetables
,
strain
and reserve the
water
.
5.
Fry
onions
in
oil
,
add
the ground
masala
, then
add
boiled
vegetables
,
coconut
extract,
salt
and sugar to
taste
.
6.
Pour
enough
water
(from boiled
vegetables
) and
boil
till gravy becomes thick.
7. Garnish with fried
cashew nuts
.
