Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Coconut (grated)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Ginger
- 1 inch piece
•
Garlic
- 7 flakes
•
Red chillies
- 10
•
Dhania
- 1 tablespoon
•
Jeera
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Turmeric
- ½ teaspoon
•
Poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Cut
onion
and
capsicums
finely.
2.
Grind
tomatoes
,
strain
to
get
uniform pulp.
3.
Scrape
coconut
,
add
little
water
and extract.
4. Take two extracts.
5.
Cut
other
vegetables
finely and steam it.
6.
Heat
oil
season with
cumin
, mustard and curry
leaves
.
7.
Add
onions
and
fry
till brown.
8.
Pour
tomato
pulp and saute for a few minutes, till the raw smell is lost.
9.
Add
ground
mixture
,
fry
for a minute,
add
steamed
vegetables
with second extract of the
coconut
,
salt
and
sugar
.
10.
Boil
till the gravy becomes thick.
Add
first extract of the
coconut
and
capsicum
pieces.
11.
Boil
for two minutes and garnish with
coriander
leaves
.
12. This can be cooked directly in pressure cooker.
13.
Fry
everything in cooker body itself,
add
raw
vegetables
, ground
mixture
and second extract of the
coconut
.
14. After
removing
the lid,
pour
first extract,
boil
once and
serve
garnished.
