Mustard seeds (for seasoning)
- 1 teaspoon

Curry leaves (for garnishing)
- 1 tablespoon

Coriander leaves (for garnishing)
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients For Grinding Together

Poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon
•
Green chillies
- 8
•
Dhania
- 1 tablespoon
•
Jeera
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Black pepper (fry separately)
- 6
•
Onions
- 3
•
Ginger
- 1 inch piece
•
Coconut (scraped)
- ½ cup
•
Cinnamon
- 1 inch piece
•
Cloves
- 4
•
Cardamoms
- 3
•
Tomatoes
- 3
Method
1.
Slice
onions
lengthwise.
Cut
vegetables
into small pieces and steam in pressure cooker.
2.
Heat
oil
in
frying
pan,
fry
onions
till brown,
add
ground
masala
and boiled
vegetables
with enough
water
.
3.
Add
salt
and
cook
in medium flame, till gravy becomes thick.
4. Garnish with
curry leaves
and
coriander leaves
.
