Tomato Garlic Chutney

Garlic
- 5 flakes

Ginger
- ½ inch piece
•
Onions (chopped lengthwise)
- 2
•
Tomatoes (chopped)
- ¾ cup
•
Red chillies
- 6
•
Dhania
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Tamarinds
- a little
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
•
Asafoetidas
- a pinch
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1.
Heat
little
oil
and
fry
red chillies
,
dhania
,
garlic
,
ginger
,
onion
and then
tomatoes
.
2.
Fry
till
tomatoes
become soft.
3.
Grind
together with
salt
and
tamarind
.
4.
Heat
another teaspoon of
oil
,
add
seasonings
and
mix
with chutney.
