Tomato Chutney with Cinnamon

Garlic

Chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon

Salt
- as required
•
Cinnamon
- 1 inch piece
•
Cloves
- 3
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Aniseeds
- ¼ teaspoon
Method
1.
Chop
onions
and
tomatoes
.
2.
Heat
oil
,
add
cinnamon
,
cloves
,
garlic
,
onions
and then
tomatoes
.
3. Saute till moisture is absorbed.
4.
Add
salt
,
turmeric
,
chilly powder
and little
water
.
5.
Cook
for few more minutes.
6.
Add
ground paste
, with little more
oil
.
7.
Fry
till
oil
separates.
