Ingredients
•
Yellow pumpkins (cut into small pieces)
- 1 cup
•
Curd (fresh, thick)
- ¾ cup
•
Salt
- as required
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- as required
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Red chillies
- 2
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Green chillies
- 3
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Ginger
- ½ inch piece
Method
1.
Heat
water
in a vessel, when it starts
boiling
add
vegetable
pieces and
boil
once.
2.
Remove
from fire and
strain
water
completely.
3.
Add
to
ground paste
with
salt
and
mix
well.
4.
Heat
oil
,
add
mustard
, broken
red chilly
and
add
to the pachadi.
5. Just before
serving
mix
with fresh thick
curds
.
Note - Other Suggested Vegetables
• Ladies finger:
Cut
into small pieces.
Fry
in
oil
till raw flavour is lost. Cool it down and follow the above procedure.
• Snake gourd:
Grate
and use.
• Carrot:
Scrape
outer skin and
grate
.
• Banana stem:
Cut
finely and
boil
for a minute.
