Sweet Potato Porial

Ingredients

Sweet potato
- ½ kg
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Red chillies
- 4
•
Onion (big)
- 1
•
Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- ¼ cup
•
Salt
- as required
Method
1.
Wash
and
chop
sweet potato
into 1 ½ inch square pieces.
2.
Add
ground paste
and
mix
well with fingers.
Marinate
for ½ an hour.
3.
Heat
oil
in a pan
add
seasoning
ingredients
and marinated
sweet potato
.
4.
Keep
in reduced flame.
Stir
gently in between.
5.
Remove
from fire when
sweet potato
in cooked properly and moisture is evaporated.
