Sweet Potato Dry Curry

Ingredients

• • Sweet potato - ½ kg
• • Oil (for frying) - as required
• • Salt - as required
• • Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
• • Tamarinds - a little
• • Turmeric powder - ½ teaspoon

Method

• 1. Scrape outer skin, dice and cook separately in water with little tamarind, salt, turmeric powder.
• 2. Drain off excess oil.
• 3. Sprinkle salt, chilly powder.
