Stir Fried Saucy Chicken

Ingredients
•
Chicken (cut into 8 pieces)
- 800 grams
•
Soya sauce
- 3 tablespoons
•
Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons
•
8 & 8 sauce
- 1 tablespoon
•
Tomato ketchup
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Black pepper
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- 4 tablespoons
Method
1.
Marinate
the
chicken
with all the
sauces
,
salt
and
pepper
for 10-15 minutes.
2.
Heat
oil
in a pressure cooker or a large pan.
Add
the
chicken
pieces to the
oil
.
3.
Stir
fry
the
chicken
pieces on high
heat
, till brown on both sides.
4. While
stir
frying
the pieces, take care to
keep
them apart.
5. Do not overlap the pieces. Lower the
heat
.
Add
½ cup
water
and the left over
marinade
.
6. Pressure
cook
to give 2 whistles.
Remove
from
heat
immediately after the second whistle.
7. Drop the pressure by putting
cold water
on the lid of the cooker.
8. Dry the excess liquid by
keeping
on fire.
Serve
hot.
