Sprouted Green Gram Paratha

Ingredients

Green grams (whole)
- ¼ cup
•
Onion (big)
- 1
•
Tomatoes
- 2
•
Garlic
- 3 flakes
•
Green chillies
- 3
•
Red chilly powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Salt (powdered)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Sugar
- 1 teaspoon
(optional)
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Soak
gram
in
water
for 10 hours.
2.
Strain
and tie in a clean muslin cloth.
3. Allow to sprout for 1 day
4. Steam this sprouted
gram
in pressure cooker for few minutes.
5.
Grind
onion
,
tomato
,
garlic
,
green chillies
and then cooked
gram
. (without
adding
water
)
6.
Heat
oil
and
fry
the ground
mixture
in medium flame till moisture is absorbed.
7.
Remove
from fire and
mix
with other dry
ingredients
and
coconut
.
8.
Make
parathas using this stuffing.
