Small Potatoes Curry

Ingredients

Onions (big)

Potato (small)
- ¼ kg

Curd
- 1 cup
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Cardamoms
- 3
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Ghee
- as required
•
Lime
- 1
Ingredients For Masala
•
Coriander leaves
- 1 bunch
•
Garlic
- 5 flakes
•
Green chillies
- 5
•
Onion
- 1
•
Cinnamon
- 1 inch piece
•
Cloves
- 2
Method
1.
Cook
potatoes
in pressure cooker.
2.
Peel
the skin and
keep
aside.
3.
Cut
onions
into fine pieces.
4.
Heat
ghee
in a
frying
pan,
add
cardamom
fry
for a minute and
add
cut
onions
.
5. When it turns translucent
add
ground
masala
and
fry
till
ghee
separates from it in a reduced flame.
6.
Mix
curds
,
salt
and
turmeric powder
to that and
keep
frying
till
ghee
separates once again.
7.
Add
peeled
potatoes
and
fry
till done, sprinkling
water
in between.
8. This curry should be dry.
9.
Serve
hot accompanied with
lime
pieces.
