Ingredients
•
Buffalo's milk
- ½ liter
•
Curd (fresh)
- 2 teaspoons
•
Sugar (powdered)
- ¾ cup
•
Saffron
- a few
•
Cardamom powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Pistha nuts (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Chironji nuts/Sarai paruppus (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Mix
2 teaspoon of fresh
curds
to warm
milk
to
prepare
curds
.
2. When it is set,
pour
it in a clean muslin cloth, tie and hang the bag for 2 hours till all the liquid drips by itself.
3. Tie another double layered muslin strongly on top of a vessel.
4. Take small quantities of
curd
and
sugar
alternatively and rub on top of the cloth. (This removes excess moisture if any).
5. Put it into another bowl.
6. Repeat the process till all the
curd
is mixed.
7.
Crush
saffron
after
heating
it on a heavy pan.
8.
Mix
saffron
,
cardamom powder
with the
curds
.
9. Sprinkle fried nuts and
serve
chilled.
