Ingredients

Ladies finger/Okra
- 250 grams
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Chaat masala
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Asafoetidas
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Onions
- 1 cup
•
Ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon
•
Garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon
•
Green chillies
- ½ teaspoon
•
Tomatoes
- 1 cup
•
Ground cashew nuts
- 2 tablespoons
•
Gram flour
- 2 tablespoons
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Yogurt
- 1 cup
•
Water
- 200 milliliters
•
Salt
- 1 teaspoon
•
Cream (fresh)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Fenugreek (dry)
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Slice
the
ladies finger
to
remove
the crown and
cut
into half.
2. In a pan,
heat
oil
and
add
ladies finger
.
3.
Add
salt
and
chaat masala
. Saute well until cooked.
Keep
aside.
4. In a pan,
heat
oil
.
Add
cumin seeds
,
asafoetida
and
onion
. Saute until
onions
are translucent.
5.
Add
ginger paste
,
garlic paste
and
green chilly
. Saute well.
6.
Add
tomato
. Saute till
tomatoes
are soft.
7.
Add
ground cashew nuts
,
gram flour
,
turmeric powder
,
coriander powder
and
stir
well.
8.
Add
yogurt
.
Mix
well.
9.
Add
water
.
Mix
well.
10.
Add
the sauted
ladies finger
.
Mix
it well.
11.
Add
salt
and fresh
cream
.
Mix
well.
12.
Add
garam masala powder
and dry
fenugreek
.
Mix
well.
13.
Serve
with roti.
