Malalabar yam

Green chillies

Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon

Salt

Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 3 tablespoons

Curd (fresh, thick)
- 2 cups
Ingredients For Seasoning

Oil
- 1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves

Method
1.
Wash
,
scrape
outer skin from
yam
and
cut
into small pieces.(Select tender and fresh
yam
)
2. Steam
Cook
it and
grind
it with other
ingredients
and
mix
with whipped thick
curds
.
3.
Heat
oil
,
add
mustard
,
curry leaves
and
mix
with pachadi.
4.
Serve
with cooked rice.
