Rice Roti

Ingredients
•
Rice flour (prepared from washed and dried rice)
- 2 cups
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Green chillies
- 8
•
Coriander leaves (cut)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Onions (finely cut)
- ΒΌ cup
•
Salt
- 2 teaspoons
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Warm water (for mixing the dough)
- as required
Method
1.
Grind
coconut
and
green chillies
to fine
paste
and
mix
with all other
ingredients
to the
flour
.
2. Sprinkle
warm water
and knead to a hard dough.
3. Take thin dosa pan and pat little dough on top of that as thin as possible.
4. Put few holes in the center,
add
oil
in and around and then place the tawa-on fire.
5. Close with a lid and
fry
in medium flame carefully turning the pan for even
heating
.
6. When roti becomes crisp carefully take it from the pan. (Do not turn over).
7.
Serve
hot with 'chutney'.
Note
•
Keep
two such pans ready for quick
serve
.
•
Wash
or wipe the pan every time before patting next ball of the dough.
• Cool down and then
spread
the dough.
Variations
• Grated carrots along with roasted peanut
powder
can be added.
• Spring
onions
along with stem which is chopped finely can he added.
