Rice Flour Carrot Roti

Ingredients
•
Plain rice flour
- 2 cups
•
Carrots (grated)
- 1 cup
•
Bengal gram powder/Chutney grams (roasted)
- ¼ cup
•
Onions (finely cut)
- ¼ cup
Method
1.
Mix
all the
ingredients
together.
2. Sprinkle
water
and knead like chapati dough.
3.
Make
orange sized balls and
spread
on a thin, wet muslin by patting evenly with hands.
4. Take carefully from the cloth and
fry
on a hot tawa using
oil
both sides for
frying
.
Serve
hot.
Variations
• Cucumber Roti - Use grated cucumber instead of
carrots
and follow the same recipe.
• Rawa,
carrot
roti - Omit
gram
flour
and
rice
flour
. Use rawa and
mix
the dough. Finely chopped
greens
also can be added along with
carrots
.
