Rawa Puri

Ingredients
•
Fine rawa
- 1 ½ cups
•
Maida
- 1 ½ cups
•
Butter
- 2 tablespoons
•
Milk
- as required
•
Salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Oil (for deep frying)
- as required
Method
1.
Mix
flour,
rawa
and
salt
together in
mixing
bowl.
2. Rub in
butter
till it is mixed well with the flour.
3. Gradually,
add
milk
and knead to a stiff dough.
4. Pat and knead several times.
5.
Roll
out into puris and deep
fry
.
6.
Serve
these puris along with 'Dum aloo'
Note
•
Milk
should be cool while
mixing
to the flour otherwise puris not turn out well.
Variations - Maida Puri
• Omit
rawa
and
butter
.
• To plain
maida
flour
mix
lukewarm
milk
and knead to smooth dough.
•
Roll
puris little thicker than normal and then deep
fry
.
