Raw Mango Sweet - Sour Chutney

Ingredients

Mangoes (grated, raw)
- 2 cups
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Ginger
- 1 inch piece
•
Red chillies
- 2
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Salt
- as required
•
Sugar
- 2 teaspoons
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 2 sprigs
•
Asafoetida powder
- 2 pinches
Method
1.
Scrape
outer skin and
grate
ginger
and
mangoes
separately.
2.
Heat
little
oil
in a
frying
pan
add
mustard
,
curry leaves
, broken
chillies
and
asafoetida
.
3.
Add
grated
ginger
and then grated
mangoes
.
4.
Mix
turmeric powder
,
salt
and
fry
until moisture evaporates.
5. Finally sprinkle
sugar
,
red chilly powder
and
take out
from stove, after
mixing
it well.
