Raw Jack Fruit Curry

Ingredients

Jack (tender, raw)
- ¼ kg
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Mustard
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Red chillies
- 2
•
Curry leaves
- few
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Green chillies
- 3
Method
1.
Cut
raw
jack
into big pieces.
2.
Cook
in
water
with
salt
,
turmeric powder
for 10 to 15 minutes.
3.
Drain
water
completely.
4. Allow it to come to room temperature and
crush
it in mixie.
5.
Heat
oil
,
add
seasonings
and then crushed raw
jack
.
6.
Fry
well for few minutes.
7.
Add
pound
mixture
with
salt
and
fry
for another minute.
8.
Remove
from fire and
serve
as a dry
curry
with rice.
