Raw Banana Pepper Curry

Ingredients
•
Bananas (tender, raw)
- 2
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- ¼ cup
•
Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- few
Method
1.
Scrape
outer skin and
dice
banana
into medium cubes.
2.
Keep
immersed in
water
till required.
3.
Grind
coconut
,
pepper
and
salt
to smooth
paste
.
4.
Heat
oil
in deep
frying
pan,
add
mustard
,
curry leaves
and then chopped
vegetable
pieces.
5.
Fry
for 1 or 2 minutes and then
add
ground paste
with ½ cup
water
.
6. Close with lid and
cook
in reduced flame
stirring
in between till
banana
is cooked and
curry
becomes dry.
