Pumpkin Chutney

Ingredients
•
Yellow pumpkin pieces (finely cut)
- 2 cups
•
Red chillies
- 8
•
Oil
- a little
•
Bengal gram dal
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Thuar dal
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Salt
- 1 teaspoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Heat
½ Teaspoon of
oil
in a
frying
pan and
fry
red chillies
,
thuar dal
,
bengal gram dal
until it turns golden brown.
2. Transfer roasted
ingredients
to a plate and
heat
another teaspoon of
oil
in that same
frying
pan.
3.
Fry
pumpkin
pieces by sprinkling little
water
now and then.
4.
Powder
the roasted
ingredients
with
salt
in mixie and then
add
fried
pumpkin
pieces.
5.
Grind
to a coarse chutney consistency.
6. Season
mustard
in
oil
and
add
to chutney and
serve
.
