Ingredients

Coconut (grated, dry)
- ½ cup
•
Mint leaves (fresh)
- 1 cup
•
Red chillies
- 7
•
Salt
- as required
•
Tamarind
- marble size
•
Jaggery
- a little
•
Oil
- as required
•
Onions (finely cut)
- 2 tablespoons
Method
1.
Grind
coconut
,
chillies
,
tamarind
,
mint
,
salt
and
jaggery
together to
coarse paste
.
2.
Heat
oil
and
fry
onions
till golden brown.
3.
Add
ground paste
and
fry
till good smell comes.
4. Cool down to room temperature and
serve
.
Variations
• Use
mint
and coriander
leaves
together and do the recipe or take equal quantities of coriander, curry
leaves
and
mint leaves
.
• Follow the above recipe. Omit
jaggery
.
