Potato Sukka

Potato

Onions

Tomatoes

Salt

- 1 ½ tablespoons

Butter
- 1 tablespoon

Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
Ingredients For Grinding Together

Red chillies
- 8
•
Jeera
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Dhania
- 1 tablespoon
•
Garlic
- 10 flakes
Method
1.
Boil
potatoes
in pressure cooker.
2.
Peel
and
mash
coarsely.
3.
Slice
onions
thinly.
4.
Chop
tomatoes
finely.
5.
Heat
oil
, season with
jeera
and
curry leaves
,
add
onions
and
fry
till it becomes transparent.
6.
Add
tomatoes
and
fry
for few more minutes.
7.
Add
ground
mixture
,
salt
and sugar
stir
until raw flavour is lost.
8.
Add
potatoes
and
fry
well.
9. No need to
add
water
.
10. This is a dry
curry
, which can be served with Pulkas and chapatis.
Variation
• Omit
tomatoes
instead use whipped thick curds.
