Ingredients

Potato
- ½ kg
•
Curd
- ½ cup
•
Tamarind (soaked & extracted)
- small lime size
•
Oil
- 3 tablespoons
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Jeera
- ½ teaspoon
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Salt
- as required
•
Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Coriander leaves
- as required
Method
1.
Boil
potatoes
and
peel
the skin.
2.
Mash
two
potatoes
alone.
3.
Dice
other
potatoes
.
4.
Heat
oil
in a
frying
pan,
add
jeera
when it splutters,
add
split
chillies
,
turmeric
,
Red chilly powder
and
garam masala
in the
oil
.
5.
Fry
for a minute,
add
curds
,
mix
well
add
potatoes
, and
tamarind
pulp.
6.
Fry
well till
oil
separates.
7. Garnish with
coriander leaves
.
8.
Serve
as a dry curry.
