Pomegranate Guava Smoothie

Ingredients

Pomegranate
- 1
•
Guava (ripe)
- 1
•
Water
- 1 ½ cups
•
Salt
- as required
•
Honey
- 1 teaspoon
•
Pepper (coarsely crushed)
- 2 pinches
•
Cumin seed (coarsely crushed)
- 2 pinches
Method
1.
Cut
pomegranate
into two.
2. Turn it upside down,
keep
a vessel under and pat the
fruit
on top using a laddie.
3. All the
seeds
alone fall into the vessel.
4.
Cut
guava
into big pieces,
pour
1 cup of
water
and
grind
it in a mixie.
5.
Strain
though a large eyed strainer to
remove
seeds
.
6.
Keep
the juice aside.
7. Put
pomegranate
seeds
in the same mixie,
pour
½ cup of
water
, run at low speed using whipper.
8.
Strain
the juice using the same strainer.
9.
Mix
both juices along with
salt
,
cumin
,
pepper
powder
and
honey
, in the blender itself.
10.
Serve
with crushed ice-cubes on top.
