Spinaches
- 3 bunches

Onions

Pea
- ½ kg

Garlic
- 8 flakes

Ginger
- 1 inch piece

Salt
- as required
•
Green chillies
- 8
•
Coriander leaves
- 1 bunch
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Tomatoes
- 4
•
Oil/Ghee
- 4 tablespoons
Method
1.
Slice
onions
,
chop
tomatoes
and
spinach
finely.
2.
Boil
peas
.
3.
Grind
ginger
,
garlic
,
chillies
and
coriander leaves
.
4.
Heat
ghee
and
fry
the
onions
till brown,
add
the ground
masala
and
fry
in a low
heat
till
ghee
separates from it.
5.
Add
turmeric
,
salt
, cooked
peas
, chopped
spinach
and
tomatoes
.
6.
Pour
enough
water
,
cover
and
cook
in medium
heat
till everything is tender and soft.
7.
Mix
½ Teaspoon of garam
masala
powder
before
removing
from fire.
Variation
• In place of
spinach
use 3 different type of
greens
.
• Use cooked sprouted green gram along with
spinach
.
