Plain Chapati

Ingredients
•
Wheat flour
- 1 ¾ cups
•
Maida
- ¼ cup
•
Butter (melted)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Salt (powdered)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Sugar
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1. Sieve and
mix
the flours together in a
mixing
bowl.
2.
Add
salt
,
sugar
and
butter
.
3.
Mix
well with the
flour
till
butter
blends.
4. Gradually
add
water
and knead to a smooth dough.
5. Pat and knead well for several times.
6.
Make
balls and
roll
out into medium sized chapati.
7.
Roast
on a hot 'tawa' first one side.
8. Turn over and apply little
oil
on top.
9. When it puffs up, turn over and
roast
till light brown on both sides.
10.
Serve
hot with desired subji.
