Pineapple (raw)

Dhania
- 1 tablespoon

Pepper

Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon

Red chillies
- 5

Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Fenugreek
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Coconut (grated)
- ½ cup
•
Grams (roasted)
- 1 tablespoon
Method To Prepare Masala
1. To
make
masala
fry
all the
spices
in a teaspoon of
oil
till golden brown in colour.
2.
Add
½ cup grated
coconut
and
fry
for one more minute.
3.
Grind
everything with 1 Tablespoon of roasted
gram
.
Method
1.
Peel
the outer skin and take the centre core from
pineapple
and
slice
into small pieces.
2.
Add
2 cups of
water
and
cook
in pressure cooker.
3. Switch off the cooker soon after the vent is kept.
4.
Heat
oil
in a pan,
add
mustard
, when it splutters
add
pineapple
pieces and then ground
masala
mixture
with enough
salt
and jaggery.
5. Let it
boil
in a low flame till the gravy is ready.
6.
Serve
with parathas or kulchas.
