Pineapple Chutney

Ingredients

Pineapple (small, ripe)
- 1

Red chillies
- 8
•
Ginger
- 1 inch piece
•
Urad dal
- 1 tablespoon
•
Coriander leaf
- 1 small bunch
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for frying & for seasoning)
- as required
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Lemon
- 1
Method
1.
Remove
outer skin, centre core and then
cut
pineapple
to fine pieces.
2.
Heat
½ Teaspoon of
oil
and
roast
red chillies
and
urad dal
until golden.
3. Transfer roasted
ingredients
in a plate and
fry
pineapple
in the same
frying
pan using little
oil
.
4.
Grind
roasted
ingredients
along with
salt
in mixie,
add
coriander
,
pineapple
and
grind
to coarse chutney consistency.
5. Squeeze
lemon
.
6. Season
mustard
in little
oil
and
mix
with chutney.
