Peshawari Paneer

Ingredients

Butter
- 4 tablespoons
•
All purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Pepper
- ½ teaspoon
•
Milk
- 500 milliliters
•
Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
•
Paneer
- 250 grams
•
Granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cream (fresh)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Almonds (for garnishing)
- a few
•
Saffron (for garnishing)
- a few
Method
1.
Heat
butter
in a heavy skillet,
add
all purpose flour
and
stir
.
Add
salt
and
pepper
.
Mix
well.
2.
Add
milk
and
stir
continuously until it thicken.
3.
Add
coriander powder
and
red chilly powder
.
Cook
for 2-3 minutes,
stir
continuously.
4.
Add
paneer
,
granulated sugar
and
salt
.
Mix
gently.
Simmer
for 2-3 minutes.
5.
Add
fresh
cream
.
Mix
well.
6. Garnish with
almonds
and
saffron
.
7.
Serve
hot.
