Peas In Tomato Gravy

Ingredients

• • Pea (fresh) - ½ kg
• • Pepper powder - ½ teaspoon
• • Salt - as required
• • Oil - 3 tablespoons

Ingredients For Grinding Together

• • Tomatoes - 5
• • Ginger - ½ inch piece
• • Green chillies - 4
• • Coriander leaves - 1 bunch

Method

• 1. Heal oil, fry the ground paste in a medium flame till oil is separated from it.
• 2. Add water, peas and salt. Cover and cook in a medium flame, till the peas become tender.
• 3. Remove from fire when the gravy becomes thick and serve hot.

Note

• • If dry green peas are used, soak it in water for 10 hours. Pressure cook and then follow the procedure.
