Peas In Tomato Gravy

Ingredients

Pea (fresh)
- ½ kg
•
Pepper powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- 3 tablespoons
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Tomatoes
- 5
•
Ginger
- ½ inch piece
•
Green chillies
- 4
•
Coriander leaves
- 1 bunch
Method
1. Heal
oil
,
fry
the
ground paste
in a medium flame till
oil
is separated from it.
2.
Add
water
,
peas
and
salt
.
Cover
and
cook
in a medium flame, till the
peas
become tender.
3.
Remove
from fire when the gravy becomes thick and
serve
hot.
Note
• If dry green
peas
are used,
soak
it in
water
for 10 hours. Pressure
cook
and then follow the procedure.
