Peanut-Cashew Chutney

Ingredients

Tamarind
- lemon size
•
Jaggery (grated)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Kismis
- 1 tablespoon
•
Cashews (roasted)
- 10
•
Peanuts (roasted)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Coconut (grated, dry)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Cumin seeds (roasted, powdered)
- ½ teaspoon
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Soak
tamarind
in enough
water
, squeeze and
prepare
extract for 1 cup.
2. Dry
roast
sesame seeds
, grated dry
coconut
separately until brown.
3.
Add
roasted
peanuts
,
cashews
along with that and
powder
it in a small mixie.
4.
Mix
salt
,
Jaggery
,
chilly
powder
,
kismis
with diluted
tamarind
extract and
boil
until it gets a shine.
5. Switch off the stove,
add
cumin
powder
and
mix
well and
serve
.
