Pav Bhaji Masala

Ingredients

Potato
- ¼ kg
•
Pea
- 100 grams
•
Carrots
- 3
•
Cauliflower
- ½
•
Bean
- 100 grams
•
Tomatoes
- 3
•
Onions
- 2
•
Capsicum
- 1
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Sugar
- as required
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Butter
- 50 grams
•
Pav bhaji masala powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Dhania powder
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Ginger
- ½ inch piece
•
Garlic
- 6 flakes
Method
1.
Cut
all the
Vegetables
into small pieces except
potatoes
and
peas
.
2. Pressure
cook
all the
vegetables
.
3.
Peel
the cooked
potatoes
and
mash
.
4. Do not
cook
capsicum
.
5.
Melt
butter
in a shallow pan, season with cumin
seeds
,
add
onions
and
fry
.
6. When it is golden brown
add
ground
masala
and
fry
.
7.
Mix
finely
cut
tomatoes
and
fry
till it is mashed properly.
8.
Add
mashed
potatoes
,
cut
capsicum
, other cooked
vegetables
,
salt
,
chilly
powder
,
turmeric powder
,
9.
Dhania Powder
,
Pav bhaji masala powder
and a little
sugar
.
10.
Pour
just enough
water
to
make
it into a thick gravy.
11. Take two ladles and
mash
the
vegetables
with them thoroughly when it is
boiling
.
12. When the gravy becomes thick,
serve
hot garnished with
cut
coriander
leaves
.
Method To Serve
1.
Cut
bun horizontally into half.
2. Apply
butter
and
heat
on a tawa.
3. Put little
masala
inside and
serve
with little more
masala
on its side.
