Paneer Carrot Kurma

Ingredients

Paneers (diced, cubed)
- 1 cup
•
Carrots (diced)
- 1 cup
•
Peas
- ½ cup
•
Jeera powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Green chillies (slit lengthwise)
- 2
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Butter
- as required
Ingredients For Masala (1)
•
Onions
- 5
•
Garlic
- 10 flakes
•
Ginger
- 1 inch piece
Ingredients For Masala (2)
•
Poppy seeds
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Cashew nuts
- 10
•
White sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- ¼ cup
Method
1. Deep
fry
paneer
cubes to golden brown and
keep
aside.
2.
Heat
little
oil
,
fry
peas
and
carrot
in high flame for few minutes.
3.
Remove
from
oil
and
keep
aside.
4. In the same
oil
,
add
butter
and slit
green chillies
with
masala
paste
(1).
5.
Fry
till golden brown and then
add
jeera powder
,
garam masala powder
,
chilly
powder
and
salt
.
6.
Add
fried
vegetables
,
mix
well and then
pour
masala
paste
(2).
7.
Mix
well,
add
required
water
, fried
paneer
cubes.
8.
Cook
till kurma becomes thick.
Serve
hot.
