Ingredients

Onions (sliced)
- 1 cup
•
Urad dal
- 1 tablespoon
•
Red chillies
- 3
•
Tamarind (soaked & extracted)
- lime size
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- as required
•
Mustard seeds (for seasoning)
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Dice
onion
to pieces.
Fry
till transparent.
2.
Heat
little
oil
and
fry
chillies
and
dal
together till golden.
3.
Grind
onion
along with fried
ingredients
,
salt
and
tamarind
.
4. Season with
mustard seeds
and
serve
with hot cooked rice and ghee.
