Onion Paratha

Ingredients
•
Wheat flour
- 2 cups

Salt
- 1 teaspoon

Oil
- 1 tablespoon
•
Water

Ingredients For The Stuffing
•
Onion (finely chopped)
- 1
•
Green chillies (finely chopped)
- 3
•
Oil
- 2 teaspoons
•
Cumin
- ½ teaspoon
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Coriander powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Mango powder (raw)
- ½ teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Coriander leaves (chopped)
- a few
Method To Prepare Stuffing
1. Finely
chop
or
grate
onion
.
2.
Heat
oil
in a pan and
add
jeera
.
3. Once they splutter
add
the chopped
onion
and
green chilly
.
4. Saute for 3-5 minutes till the raw smell
leaves
and moisture evaporates.
5. No need to
cook
onion
completely.
6. You can
add
little
salt
to fasten the process.
7. Later
add
all the
spice
powder
i.e,
salt
,
red chilly powder
,
turmeric
,
coriander powder
,
cumin powder
,
garam masala
and raw
mango powder
.
8.
Mix
well. Saute for 1 minute.
9. Finally
add
some chopped
coriander leaves
,
mix
and the
onion
stuffing is ready .
10. Allow to cool.
Method To Prepare Parathas
1.
Make
equal sized balls out of the dough.
2. To dust use
wheat flour
and
roll
them to thick small circles.
3. Thick at center, thin at edges.
4.
Keep
1-2Tablespoon of stuffing in the center, seal it up nicely by pulling all the edges to the center.
5. Repeat the same with all the dough and stuffing.
6. With the help of dry
flour
,
roll
the parathas into thick or thin discs as per your preference .
7.
Heat
a griddle, transfer the paratha on to griddle carefully and
cook
them on both sides by drizzling
oil
.
8.
Cook
till both the sides has golden spots Soft,delicious,hot

parathas are ready to
serve
.
