Mutton Dahi Dhaniya Korma

Ingredients
•
Mutton (leg portion)
- 500 grams
•
Onions (prepare: grounded to a paste)
- 2
•
Dahi/Curd (thick)
- 1 cup
•
Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- 1 cup
•
Choti elaichi powder/Green cardamoms
- 1 teaspoon
•
Mustard oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Salt
- as required
Method
1.
Heat
oil
in a heavy bottomed pan.
Add
onion
paste
and the
mutton
.
2.
Cook
over medium
heat
until light brown. Beat the
dahi
very well and
add
to the
mutton
.
Stir
well.
3.
Add
salt
and 1 cup of
water
&
simmer
for 15-20 minutes.
Add
the
choti elaichi powder
and the
coriander leaves
.
4.
Simmer
until
mutton
is tender & the gravy is thick.
Serve
hot with boiled rice.
