Mushroom Masala

Button mushroom
- 200 grams
•
Onions (big)
- 2

Tomatoes
- 3
•
Salt
- as required
•
Sugar
- as required
•
Capsicums
- 2

Oil (for frying)
- as required
Ingredients For Frying In Oil And Grind Together To Paste

Onion
- 1
•
Coconut (grated)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Red chillies
- 8
•
Pepper
- ΒΌ teaspoon
•
Cinnamon
- 1 inch piece
•
Cloves
- 3
•
Garlic
- 7 flakes
•
Ginger
- 1 inch piece
Method
1. Take fresh
water
in a large vessel and put
mushrooms
in it.
2. Rinse well and
remove
from the
water
.
3.
Pour
lukewarm
water
again and
wash
well. Dry the
mushrooms
by
spreading
it on a towel.
4.
Slice
each
mushroom
into two pieces.
5.
Slice
onions
,
tomatoes
,
capsicums
into thin lengthwise pieces.
6.
Heat
oil
in a
frying
pan and
fry
onions
,
capsicum
and then
add
chopped
tomatoes
.
7.
Cook
till it becomes pulpy.
8.
Add
sliced
mushrooms
and
fry
for few minutes.
9.
Mix
ground paste
to this along with
salt
,
sugar
.
10.
Stir
till
oil
floats on top.
11.
Pour
just enough
water
and
cook
till it becomes thick.
12.
Serve
hot with pulkas.
