Moghalai Paneer Kofta Curry

Ingredients For The Filling

Paneer
- 200 grams
•
Carrot
- 1
•
French beans
- 10
•
Peas
- 1 cup
•
Cashew nuts
- 12
•
Unsweetened khova
- ½ cup
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for deep frying)
- as required
Ingredients For The Gravy
•
Tomatoes
- 3
•
Onions
- 3
•
Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon
•
Nutmeg powder
- 2 pinches
•
Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Curd
- 1 cup
•
Chilly powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
Method
1. Blanch
tomatoes
in
hot water
.
2.
Peel
skin and
make
into
paste
.
3.
Chop
carrot
and
beans
finely.
4.
Add
peas
,
salt
and steam
cook
in pressure cooker without
adding
water
.
5.
Mix
boiled
vegetables
with khoya,
cashew nuts
and a
pinch
of
salt
.
6. Divide
paneer
into small portions.
7. Take one portion flatten in the form of a cup, place a little
vegetable
filling inside, close and
make
a ball.
8.
Prepare
all the balls like this till and the dough is over.
9. Deep
fry
in hot
oil
, until golden.
10.
Heat
oil
in a
frying
pan,
fry
the sliced
onions
till transparent.
11.
Add
tomato
puree,
ginger-garlic paste
,
nutmeg
,
chilly powder
,
garam masala
, beaten
curds
and
salt
.
12.
Cook
till the gravy is thick,
add
koftas just before
removing
from fire.
13.
Serve
garnished with silver paper and chopped coriander
leaves
.
