Salt

Oil
- 3 tablespoons

Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Black gram dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Bengal gram dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Coconut (scraped)
- ½
•
Green chillies
- 10
•
Coriander leaves
- 1 bunch
•
Ginger
- 1 inch piece
•
Grams (roasted)
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Cut
onions
finely.
2.
Dice
all the
vegetables
,
add
enough
water
and
cook
in pressure cooker.
3.
Heat
oil
in a pan, season with
mustard seeds
,
black gram dal
,
Bengal gram dal
and
curry leaves
.
4.
Add
onions
and
fry
till translucent.
5.
Add
the ground
mixture
fry
for a minute,
mix
all the
vegetables
with enough
water
and
salt
.
6.
Cook
for 10 to 15 minutes ( or) till the gravy thickens.
7.
Serve
hot with puris or idlis.
