Mixed Vegetable Kurma

Onions peeleds (small)

Coconut milk
- 1 cup

Potatoes
- 1 cup

Carrots
- 1 cup

Beans
- 1 cup

Cauliflowers
- 1 cup

- 1 cup

Tomatoes
- 5
•
Onions (big)
- 2
•
Garlic
- 7 flakes
•
Oil/Ghee
- 1 ½ tablespoons
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Scarped coconut
- ½ cup
•
Poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoons
Method
1.
Heat
little
oil
in a pan and
fry
small
onions
,
garlic
,
cardamom
,
green chillies
and
cashew nuts
.
2.
Grind
it with
ginger
and
coriander powder
.
3. Take
coconut
extract from half a
coconut
.
4.
Cut
big
onions
,
garlic
and
tomatoes
finely.
5.
Heat
oil
and
ghee
in a pan,
add
ground
mixture
and
fry
for a minute.
6.
Add
tomatoes
and
fry
till skin is
peeled
, then put mixed diced raw
vegetables
and saute for few minutes.
7.
Pour
coconut
extract and pressure
cook
till the
vegetables
become soft.
8. After
removing
the lid,
add
fried
onion
and
garlic
.
9. Now put the
coconut
and
poppy
paste
to this.
10.
Boil
for two minutes and
remove
from fire.
