Ingredients

Maida
- 2 cups
•
Wheat flour
- 2 cups
•
Bengal gram flour
- 2 cups
•
Kasuri methis
- 1 teaspoon
•
Chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Asafoetidas/Hings
- a pinch
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
Method
1.
Mix
all the
ingredients
in a bowl and knead into a soft, smooth dough using enough
water
.
2.
Keep
aside for 10 minutes.
3.
Make
balls, dredge in
maida
and
roll
out.
4.
Cook
each roti on a tawa over a medium flame.
5.
Serve
hot.
